Estelle Steenkamp
Estelle Steenkamp is die jongste lid van die Hartklop administratiewe span. Sy het in die Swartland op n plaas groot geword en was altyd mal oor die plaaslewe. Sy het egter nie in haar wildste drome ooit kon dink dat sy met ‘n Karooboer sou trou nie. Sy is ‘n gekwalifiseerde apteker en werk deeltyds by die apteek op Calvinia. Wanneer sy nie werk nie hou sy haar besig op hul plaas naby Middelpos op die pad na Sutherland. Sy is veral mal oor bak. Hierdie dinamiese klein mensie is verantwoordelik vir Hartklop se bestellings en bemarking.
Kirsten Fourie
Kirsten Fourie grew up on the North Coast of Natal. In 2004 she moved from George to Calvinia for a position with a conservation organisation. It was a one year contract but then she met and fell in love with her husband and one year later she was married and is now here for life! Kirsten is a mother to three wonderful children whom she home schools. She lives by the motto “In 1 success a 1000 failures lie forgotten and in 1 refusal to try a 1000 successes may prematurely die”. If you ask her to try something she will in all likelihood say “yes”. Kirsten is a crafter by nature but started baking to help relieve some of the financial pressures of the drought.
